We got about 9-10" of very heavy wet snow overnight and into today, the biggest snowfall of this winter. Clearing the driveway was pretty miserable, especially the heap at the end left by the plow. But I needed to do that so I could get the car out and go skiing. Holly and I met at the golf course, a nearby and reliable place for an hour of skiing, especially when conditions are questionable. With a snow day declared by almost every school district, the course was full of skiers, snowboarders, tubers, and sledders, but there's plenty of room for everybody. We did our usual circuit, which includes a few downhills, and then went our separate ways to do other things. The skiing was OK but not great, but it's tough to complain about ANY local skiable snow at this point.
