After spending yesterday getting started on spring yard cleanup, today it was time to play. Biked from Schenectady to Amsterdam and back, for 32 miles. Details here.

About This Blog
I've always been an active hiker, biker, and cross-country skier, but never felt like I had enough time for these things. Having retired from the Federal government at the end of December, 2007, I now have virtually unlimited time on my hands, and plan to spend it doing those things I love, and more. Carpe diem!
I'll try to include all outdoor activities, both big and small, local and far away: hiking, biking, XC skiing, golf, geocaching, local walks, camping - it's all good!
